Kyle Ballard, Interim Teaching Pastor
Kyle Ballard spent 10 years in the United States Navy, obtained a Bachelor’s degree in business and then started and ran a small business over the past 10 years, before sensing God’s calling into ministry. He holds a Masters in Divinity degree with a Pastoral Ministry concentration from Liberty University. Kyle also serves as a Chaplain in the Army National Guard. His diverse background allows him to authentically relate with people of all ages and from all walks of life. He and his wife Jill have 3 children.
Tony Boscarino, Worship Pastor
Tony and his wife Jess were dramatically transformed by God in their college years at Central Michigan University. After working on staff in campus ministry for 3 years in Michigan, the couple moved to Ashland in 2009. The two are passionate about connecting with and leading others into an intimate relationship with the Lord. Their heart is to see people find true life in an everyday, walking relationship with Jesus!
Maris Buller, Kid’s Life Director
Maris has been active in the Kid’s Life ministry for many years and joined the staff as Kid’s Life Director in 2013. She takes to heart the mission of Kid’s Life and desires to give the kids an excitement for God, who He is, and to show them the love of Christ in a positive and fun way. She and her husband, Lonnie, have four children and live on a farm outside of Ashland.
Michelle Powell, Women’s Ministries Director
Since the first time she witnessed the transformational impact of the four life-giving practices as they bring life and faith together, Michelle has been committed to life group as a way of life. She truly believes there is nothing more rewarding or thrilling than seeing God change women into who they were created to become! After being a life group coach for a couple years, she served as life group coordinator for several years before joining the RCC staff, in April of 2015, as Women’s Ministry Director . Michelle and her husband, Mark, have seven children. They live in Ashland with their youngest 3 children- Grace, Rylie and Jaxon.
James Bergsten, Youth Pastor
13 years ago James graduated from college with a degree in business. Instead of going into the corporate world, James felt a strong calling to youth ministry and he’s been doing it ever since. Now he and his wife, Emily, are helping students understand that God isn’t just a Wednesday night or Sunday morning thing but a “moment by moment, breath by breath” thing. They love showing them that having a relationship with God is ALIVE and AWESOME!! James and Emily have three children: Gavin, Chloe and Will.
